Mental Health Policy

Consultant Brandi Tanner is a licensed mental health professional in the state of Georgia. However, Dr. Tanner only provides Consultant services to clients of Your IEP Source, LLC. Consultant is not a substitute or alternative for mental health counseling, psychoanalysis or examination, or other mental health services. Do not delay diagnosis or treatment. Do not postpone appointments, go without or adjust medications, or otherwise rely on Consultant as a substitute or alternative for mental health care. 

In the event the Consultant deems, in the Consultant’s sole discretion, that Consultant is not appropriate for you, Consultant will notify you of the termination of the Consultant relationship. Consultant is unable to provide therapy services to you and cannot and will not provide psychological services in her role as Consultant.  

Consultant is not subject to any privilege, but Consultant does strive to keep communications confidential. However, Consultant is required to and will abide by mandatory reporting rules typical of mental health settings.

Consultant does not provide letters for unrelated court cases or other purposes, such as, by way of example and not limitation, family law, custody, or criminal cases.
